D.C., Common Ground, and Jesus

I’m off to Washington, D.C. today with the family.  We’re going to take the kids to see some of the cool sights and monuments.  Tomorrow we’re heading just south of Fredericksburg to stay with my friend Kevin Brungard and his family.  Kevin planted Common Ground Christian Church back in ’03, and will be headed to Vegas next year to help Vince Antonucci plant a church on the strip.  I’m preaching for Kevin this Sunday.  I’m talking about “Losing My Religion” (that’s the name of their current series, which is based on the Bible book of Galatians… which means I get to preach about my favorite subject:  Jesus).  It’s gonna be a blast!

About Aaron

Aaron is a follower of Jesus. He's married to his smokin' hot wife Laura and is the father of three adorable girls. He enjoys a robust cigar, a complex root beer, a good movie, writing, football, thought-provoking books, and rousing discussions about subjects you're not supposed to talk about (like theology and politics). Religious people irritate him (because he once was one). He's on a quest to find the perfect dry rub and sauce for ribs.
