I Heart Playoff Football

Wow.  This weekend’s NFL football slate of games was awesome.  It’s totally why they don’t leave deciding the champs to talking heads and polls (the BCS people should really take note).

The Arizona Cardinals were called the worst playoff team in history.  Yet they pick off Jake Delhomme five timesand send Carolina packing.  Philidelphia, with a 9-6-1 record, needed Tampa Bay and Chicago to lose and had to beat Dallas just to get in.  McNabb and Reid were supposed to be out as QB and coach.  Yet, here there are, in their fifth NFC title game.  The NFC title game will be fun to watch.

In the AFC, the title game between Baltimore and Pittsburgh will be… painful.  It will hurt.  It might end in a baseball-like score.

I love playoff football.  Answer the poll below, and then scroll down and check out the next post from Psalm 119.

About Aaron

Aaron is a follower of Jesus. He's married to his smokin' hot wife Laura and is the father of three adorable girls. He enjoys a robust cigar, a complex root beer, a good movie, writing, football, thought-provoking books, and rousing discussions about subjects you're not supposed to talk about (like theology and politics). Religious people irritate him (because he once was one). He's on a quest to find the perfect dry rub and sauce for ribs.
