I’ve Got to Try This…

My friend Heather often mentions recipes she tries on her blog.  She’s really health conscious, and is a genius at making really healthy meals for not a lot of coin.  Well, I now have one for her.  It’s called “The Bacon Explosion”.  I wish I had the time to get the stuff before the Super Bowl, but I’ll be too busy finishing up our house to get it on the market.  But this looks like a killer Super Bowl party food.

It’s roughly two pounds of sausage and two pounds of bacon.  You make a sausage roll stuffed with cooked bacon, then wrap it in a bacon weave, smoke it for two hours, and you’re in “pork Nirvana” as one site called it.

Click here to get the recipe and see how it’s made.

About Aaron

Aaron is a follower of Jesus. He's married to his smokin' hot wife Laura and is the father of three adorable girls. He enjoys a robust cigar, a complex root beer, a good movie, writing, football, thought-provoking books, and rousing discussions about subjects you're not supposed to talk about (like theology and politics). Religious people irritate him (because he once was one). He's on a quest to find the perfect dry rub and sauce for ribs.

That’s disgusting!! The closest I’d ever get to that is the lil’ smokies I’m making for tonight’s super bowl. Reber would love it though…you guys should have some sort of disgusting man-feast before you leave and you can give this a try. We have a smoker…
