A Great Start…

… to what will hopefully be a fruitful, impactful, productive relationship.  I hung out this evening with Tim Turner, preacher at Christ’s Church in Winterville, NC (just south of Greenville).  We ate at Mongolian Empire (which is the greatest place to eat ever) and then spent some time laying the foundation for a once a month get-together for mentoring, couching, and mutual encouragement.  Tim’s got a great heart, not just for Christ’s Church, but for the kingdom of God.  He’s totally cool with what we’re doing, and I think Christ’s Church will be a really great partner in taking Greenville back for the kingdom.

If you’re not being mentored or coached, and are not mentoring or coaching someone else, you need to be.  You’ll never go beyond the surface of the person you can become if you’re not mentoring and being mentored.

About Aaron

Aaron is a follower of Jesus. He's married to his smokin' hot wife Laura and is the father of three adorable girls. He enjoys a robust cigar, a complex root beer, a good movie, writing, football, thought-provoking books, and rousing discussions about subjects you're not supposed to talk about (like theology and politics). Religious people irritate him (because he once was one). He's on a quest to find the perfect dry rub and sauce for ribs.
