New Book Ideas

At this time last year, I was feverishly working on my first book, The Jumbo Shrimp Gospel. Several people have asked what I’m working on next.  I have a few ideas already in the works:  a book on the message of 1 John and a book examining biblical compassion and how we’re to live it out.  It will, however, be awhile before either of these comes out.  Working 40+ hours a week helping dying people, along with working toward making disciples and keep up with family responsibilities leave little time for writing.

However…

I do have an idea for something that can be put together before these other ideas come to fruition.  This blog started out as a way for me to reflect on scripture.  I realized a few weeks ago that I’ve almost blogged my way through the book of Psalms.  I’m thinking of taking those blog entries, expanding and revising them, and publishing them as a devotional.

Here’s where you come in, all 15 of you that read this blog.  I would like some help for a title for this proposed collection of devotionals.  Should you decide to participate, and if I chose one of the submissions, that person will get a free copy when it comes out (hopefully in time for Christmas ’10).

So what do you think?  What is a good title for a devotional book on Psalms?

About Aaron

Aaron is a follower of Jesus. He's married to his smokin' hot wife Laura and is the father of three adorable girls. He enjoys a robust cigar, a complex root beer, a good movie, writing, football, thought-provoking books, and rousing discussions about subjects you're not supposed to talk about (like theology and politics). Religious people irritate him (because he once was one). He's on a quest to find the perfect dry rub and sauce for ribs.
