My Top 5 Favorite Albums: #4

Arguably the best  band to emerge from the ashes of early ’90’s grunge, Smashing Pumpkins major label debut is fantastic from start to finish.  Producing hits such as Cherub Rock, Today, and Disarm, the Pumpkin’s breakthrough album gave us a sound a little more refined than the rawness of Nirvana.  Although some would disagree with me and say Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness is better, I think Siamese Dream is a better album (Mellon Collie has some crap on it).  I’ve listened to this album countless times, and it never gets old.  I think I’ve lost some of my hearing rockin’ out to it in the car.

About Aaron

Aaron is a follower of Jesus. He's married to his smokin' hot wife Laura and is the father of three adorable girls. He enjoys a robust cigar, a complex root beer, a good movie, writing, football, thought-provoking books, and rousing discussions about subjects you're not supposed to talk about (like theology and politics). Religious people irritate him (because he once was one). He's on a quest to find the perfect dry rub and sauce for ribs.
